Looking ahead
Do you ever feel like sometimes you are taken up by so many challenges life throws at you and you become completely absorbed by the circumstances that are right in your face? These challenging conditions make it difficult to think and plan about what is to come in your life and thus fill us with so much worry, anxiety and even depression.
If you take a look at 1 Corinthians 13:12 you can see how Paul described that we just know “a little fraction of the truth.” Trying to understand the challenges of life is like looking at a crazy reflection in the mirror. Paul finishes his statement by saying “I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
We can be so preoccupied and distracted that it can be hard to get excited about what is to come for you in the near future. The Bible promises that the time will come and all doubts will be taken care of and we will experience the wonders of all God has prepared for us.
When I go through challenging times and face problems that seem impossible to solve everything seems so overwhelming and the answers to some of my questions about my future seem so complicated. I have to stop sometimes and focus on what God has instore for me and not so much what I want Him to have in store for me. Do I know exactly what that is? Nope! But by studying the Bible I feel assured that whatever I’m going through is nothing compared to the incredible future God has in store for me.
Do not despair. God loves you and has a plan for your life. You can trust Him. His promises are true and available for all of us right this moment even as you read this chat. He has prepared your path, it’s time to follow it.
Take a break, breath and look to Jesus.
Love ya’ll,
J
